Typical daily workflow

Typical daily workflow

Daily workflow for a sales employee

【Morning】
The main work in the morning is receiving and placing orders. We receive orders from our customers (by email, FAX and phone) and then place orders to our suppliers and manufacturers. We also arrange deliveries with the Material Management Section to deliver products to customers from our stock.
【Afternoon】
We are busy with orders in the morning, but we mainly do route sales to our customers in the afternoon. We do not forget to develop new business by finding new customers or making new proposals to existing customers. In addition, if there is a sudden shortage of materials at a worksite or customer’s place of business, our sales staff may deliver them materials by themselves. The thanks that we receive from our customers instantly recharges us for the day.
【Evening】
After confirming the products that are to be delivered to the customers tomorrow, the products to be ordered from the suppliers and manufacturers tomorrow and organizing tomorrow’s schedule, today’s work is over.

Daily workflow for a delivery employee

【Morning】
We transport housing related materials to construction sites in metropolitan areas such as Kanagawa, Tokyo and Chiba. Since the delivery destinations are mainly construction sites, we normally deliver early in the morning using trucks that are assigned to each person from each delivery base attached to the office. New employees ride in the truck with senior employees and get trained to acquire know-how such as loading and delivery procedures and avoiding traffic jams.
【Afternoon】
Due to sudden delivery requests and complaints, we sometimes have to perform unscheduled deliveries, but we basically go back and forth between our delivery base in the office and the sites several times. As there are many chances to get acquainted with people at the worksites, I meet a lot of people from outside the company. When people at the worksites thank me for my work, I feel glad that I do this job.
【Evening】
After the last loading at the warehouse and delivering it to the last destination the day’s work overs and we return back to home.
It is an environment where you can secure your private time.
