Article 1 (Privacy Information)

1. Within the privacy information, “personal information” refers to the “personal information” that is defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, which is information about a living individual whose identification can be specified by their name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, or other descriptions contained in the information.
2. Within the privacy information, “information on browsing history and trends” refers to information other than the “personal information” specified above, specifically referring to the services that users used, products they purchased, the history of pages or advertisements they viewed, search keywords they entered, date and time of use, their methods of use, their usage environment, zip codes, genders, occupations, ages, IP addresses, cookie information, location information, individual terminal identification information, etc.

Article 2 (How we collect privacy information)

1. We may ask for the user’s personal information including their name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, driver’s license number, etc. when they register to use our services.
   In addition, we may collect transaction records, including personal information on the user, made between them and our partner companies, and information on payments from our partner companies (including information providers, advertisers, advertisement distributors, etc. hereinafter referred to as “partner companies”).
2. Regarding users, we collect information on their browsing history and trends, including services and software they used, products they purchased, history of pages and advertisements they viewed, search keywords they entered, date and time of use, usage methods, usage environment (including the communication status of the terminal when they use a mobile phone and various settings information upon the usage), IP addresses, cookie information, location information, individual terminal identification information when they are using the services or browsing pages of our company or partner companies.

Article 3 (Purpose of collecting and using personal information)

The purposes for which we collect and use personal information are as follows.

1. To display registered information such as names, addresses, contact information, payment methods, services used, products purchased and the prices of those products so that users can see and modify their own registration information and check their usage status
2. To use it as contact information including names and addresses. We use email addresses to contact or send information to users or we may also use names and addresses to contact them when sending them products as necessary
3. To use information such as names, dates of birth, addresses, telephone numbers, bank account numbers, credit card numbers, driver’s license numbers and the status of deliveries that had delivery certificates to verify the identity of the user
4. To use information on payments such as product names and quantity purchased, types of services and when they were used, the number of times they were used, billing amounts, names, addresses, bank account numbers and credit card numbers for the purpose of billing users
5. To make it easier for users to enter data; information registered with our company may be displayed on the input screen. Or to transfer the information to other services based on users’ instructions, etc. (including the services provided by partner companies)
6. To refuse service to users who violate the terms of use of this service, including making late payments or causing damage to a third party, or users who try to use the service for fraudulent or unreasonable purposes. We may use personally identifiable information such as usage status, names and addresses
7. To respond to inquiries from users. We may use information, including their inquiries and billing, service usage status and contact information which is necessary for us when providing services to users

Article 4 (Provision of personal information to third parties)

1. Our company will not provide any personal information to any third parties without the prior consent of the user, except in the following cases. However, this shall not apply when it is permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws and regulations.
   1. When it is based on the law
   2. When it is necessary in order to protect someone’s life, body or property, and when obtaining the consent of the person is difficult
   3. When it is particularly necessary for protecting public health or protecting the welfare of children, but it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person
   4. When the national government, local government or other parties who have received commission from the aforementioned institutions require cooperation to perform work prescribed by laws and regulations and where obtaining the consent of the person might pose a problem for the performance of their work
   5. When the following matters have been publicized or announced in advance
      1. If the purpose of using the information includes its provision to third parties
      2. If items of data provided to third parties are indicated
      3. If the means or method in which the information is provided to a third party is indicated
      4. If it is indicated that providing personal information to third parties will be discontinued at the request of the user
2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the following cases shall not fall under the category of a third party.
   1. If we outsource all or part of the handling of personal information to another party to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use of this policy
   2. If the personal information is transferred through succession of business such as a merger or other reasons
   3. In cases where personal information is shared with a specified party, and when we have notified the person in advance of these facts: the items of personal information to be used jointly, the scope of people who are using it jointly, the purpose of its use when another party uses it, and the name of the person or entity who is responsible for the management of the personal information, or when the person is in a state where they can easily access the aforementioned information

Article 5 (Disclosure of personal information)

1. If a person requests us to disclose personal information, we will disclose it to the person without delay. However, if the disclosure falls under any of the following, we may not disclose all or part of it. If we decide not to disclose it, we will notify the person of that without delay. Please note that a fee of 1,000 yen will be charged for each disclosure of personal information.
   1. If there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property or other rights or interests of the person or to a third party
   2. If there is a risk of significant hindrance to the proper implementation of our business
   3. If it violates laws and regulations
2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, in principle, we will not disclose information other than personal information, such as information on history and trends.

Article 6 (Correction and deletion of personal information)

1. If a user’s personal information held by our company is incorrect, the user can request us to correct or delete the personal information in accordance with the procedures established by our company.
2. If we receive a request as stated in the preceding paragraph from a user and determine that it is necessary to respond to the request, we will correct or delete the personal information without delay and notify the user of this.

Article 7 (Suspension of use of personal information, etc.)

If our company receives a request to suspend or delete the use of personal information (hereinafter referred to as “suspension of use”) from a person because the personal information is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use or because it was obtained by fraudulent means, we will conduct a necessary investigation without delay, and based on the results, we will suspend the use of personal information and notify the person of that. However, if there is a large cost required for suspending the use of the personal information, or if it is too arduous to suspend the use of the personal information, and if necessary alternative measures can be taken to protect the rights and interests of the person, then we may use an alternative method.

Article 8 (Changes to the privacy policy)

1. The content of this policy may be changed without notifying users.
2. Unless otherwise specified by our company, any changes to the privacy policy shall take effect from the time they are posted on this website.
